Graphic Design Internship/Co-Op opportunities at stressdesign

Stressdesign has respected internship program. Our internships are real opportunities for capable students and recent graduates to get hands-on experience, doing real work in a modern communication design studio. Stressdesign offers 3 internship tracks which are open 12months/year.

Graphic Design Print (GDP)	Graphic Design Web (GDW)	Web Development (WD)
Candidates should demonstrate beginning mastery of communication design for print, and page layout. Professional knowledge of modern design tools expected and required, including Adobe CSX Suite, Microsoft Office.The best GDP candiates will demonstrate neat presentation and craftsmanship and ability to communicate clearly.	Candidates should demonstrate a unique ability for graphic design for websites, web page layout, web typography, and interactive elements. GDW candidates will also be able to produce those layouts to XHTML/CSS standards for consistent cross-browser rendering using Adobe Dreamweaver. The best GDW candiates will demonstrate neat presentation, craftsmanship and ability to communicate clearly.	Candiates will be able to develop code for page layout for consistent cross-browser rendering in XHTML/CSS. Proficiency with ActionScript, AJAX, MySQL, PHP, Ruby on Rails, or other web technology capability or interests should be clearly indicated. The best WD candiates will demonstrate neat presentation and craftsmanship and ability to communicate clearly.

Eligibility::
Minimum of 5 semesters or equivalent (junior year, second semester)
Legal right to work in the U.S.

• Acceptance based on resume and portfolio review demonstrating skill corporate identity,publication, web, etc.
• Candidate must demonstrate competent skills with Adobe Creative Suite (CS X)

Duration::

• 3 months (+/-) for Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer terms
  

Openings::

• Held year-round and minimum of 1 per 3 month period

Duties and Responsibilities::

• Create prototypes
• Assist in preparing for presentations
• Develop design concepts
• Assist in production
• Participate in internal design critiques
• Participate in client design reviews

Pay::

• This position is a paid internship
• Pay will be commensurate with experience and skill
• Candidates requiring work-for-credit will be considered only under special circumstance
• Transportation, room and board and any work permits are the intern's responsibility
